    clutch slave cylinder

I am trying to pressure bleed a 5 speed clutch slave cylinder. I have it removed from the bell housing and the bleed screw is upand open. While bleeding it my daughter pushes the clutch pedal and the cylinder pops out of the housing. I manage to get it back in place and my question now is the seal damaged? I can't seem to get the clutch to disengage enough to put it in first or reverse.
    Thanks,
    Gary

try bleeding it again , if the rubber is damage

you will be able to see it when its apart. Do you have a c clamp that can be place on the slave to stop the piston from coming out ?
