Looking at a euro 1975 2500, red, on eBay, any
thoughts? I'm an e24 guy and I think my disease is spreading....He wants $6K, I think that is too high? What is there to look out for specific to this model. Any major differences from the US 3 ltr version other than bumpers and engine size? What diff is in this, hp and torque ratings? It's a 4 spd manual. Nice looking. I'm in need of all that newbie Q&A.....sorry. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe someone knows the car.

Mark-
I looked at that E3 2500 right after he put it on EBAY. It is a nice car, but he is asking too much for it. Plus it has rust in plenty of places; the doors have to be replaced and maybe the hood. It has the original 2.5 liter motor that runs good, but is a bit slow for that big car. I think the 2.5 is either 150 or 170 HP, but torque can't be more than 150-160 ft. lbs. It also has a fuel problem with starting sometimes, but that is no biggie. I have a 73' Bav that I am selling with a new 3.0 motor that much faster than that car.
