Car in Minneapolis - Can anyone recommend a shop

what do you think is a fair price for this car...KBB is 10.4K...dealer wants 19K...car has 39K miles
I know KBB is off on these cars BUT what do guys think I should pay for this car - whats a fair price. I imagine the guy that sold this car didnt get 17K but who knows.
Car is in Minneapolis.
(I have a 91 325iX with 58k that I may be selling in September but this car is really tempting me to do so now.)steve g

This car has had a complete valve job at 37K miles, following having the head gasket replaced 7 months earlier. Any clue why you would need to have this done so soon? If the valves were adjusted improperly, would that do enough damage to require a complete valve job?

They went able to solve my rear value leak and timinig chain. It still leaks and cost $2500.00. Go to Sears or Upton Imports in Mpls, MN
