Two sides to every story.....
She may have been treated badly, or she may have been acting badly.
I was in a retail electronics store one day just browsing while waiting for my daughter to buy some shoes at a store next door. A lady (I use the term very loosely) came in and asked the salesperson about a headphone for her cellphone. She asked him which one would do some esoteric function (not really paying attention) at the time, and he told her he wasn't sure which one worked, but would check for her. She told him that he should know every feature of any item he was selling, and doing so at the top of her voice. She made sure to let him know that she was in a BIG F*ing hurry (her words, not mine) and didn't have time for him to look it up for her. Funny though, when he said he couldn't help her, she then had time to berate him some more and asked for the manager. She then proceded to tell the manager that the salesperson had refused to help her and had been rude to her from the moment he greeted her. At this point I couldn't take her lying crap anymore, and went up to them and informed the manager that she was, essentially, a lying sack of excrement. The manager then tried to explain that no one could know every feature of every prodcut in the store, and she just cussed at all of us and left in a big huff telling the store staff she was going to complain to the main office. What a wench.

Re: Two sides to every story.....
Yeah, I agree with you. But let's say she was a wench. The manager should have had enough composure to say he was going to call the police if she didn't leave, then go back to his office. Under no circumstances should he have tossed his card at her and said, "Go back to Volkswagon. You don't deserve to own a BMW." She MAY have lost her cool, but he needed to be more professional than that. Of course, maybe she made that whole part up. All I'm saying is that if he actually said that, he shouldn't have.

Yep I agree with that 100%! I work in retail and as a manager have to deal with every unhappy customer, an let me tell you some customers are very unreasonable and as much as you try to defuse the situation you still get verbally attacked on a personal level just because they are asking for something we just don't do or it's against company policy. Too many people today want instant gratification and act like they are the only customer in the store, and then if things don't go their way they become verbally out of control, at that point I call security right away and have them taken out of the store.
