Can someone tell me how to locate a person from their email address? Isnt terer a way to trace their IP Address?

I guess I'm just a vindictive kinda guy, because if I had the problems some people have had on this board with people that don't supply items bought and paid for, I'll jump on a plane and sit on the person's front doorstep until I get satisfaction. Cost be dam*ed, it's a moral imperative (just like in Real Genius....I know where to buy bulk popcorn).
