Advise on supercharger

Need advise, if I should do it or not in installing a supercharger in my Z3 M44 (4cyl). My hesitation is the eng has 145K and some people said I shouldn't inst a blower in a high mileage eng. The wife said go for it!

..If leary on high mileage then maybe replace the headgasket to be safe.
Is this a Pro Charger unit?

think installing a blower to a car with 145K is not a bad idea except as precaution to R&R head gasket?...here is a portion of the article on the supercharge.
