Re: this is in a 750iL, although not spacious
very nice..............I do see a few things though...........short runners affect driveability and cut on power up top......it shows 2 Blow off valves versus bypass valves which recycle metered air.....intake air drawn thru those filters at that location will be hot air and cut down power........turbos are huge and I see the balancing pipe between the banks............nice job

Re: this is in a 750iL, although not spacious
Typoically on a normally aspirated engine, shorter intake runneras would hurt bottom end and help top end. But on a forced induction engine,...intake runner length no longer matters.
Can someone chime in on this? Do I have that right?
I remember learning years ago that once for force feed n engine,..the intake tuning and exhaust tuning go out the window. SAAB was doing LPI (Low Pressure Induction). Used a smll turbo to increase fuel economy, add a bit of power, and make the small 4 banger act like a small 6 with a very wide power-band. Later they increased the boost a tad and called them turbo.
