This board is suprisingly quiet after the configurator went live...did anyone else placed an order w/ their dealer?

I placed an order last week for a 135i...good thing many features are already standard so I only selected steptronic and comfort access at MSRP. Surprisingly I am the #1 on my dealer list.

Ordered a white 128i with red leather interior, six-speed manual, premium package, and xenon headlights. First 128i order at my dealer.

I was going to spec one out and order it, but decided to wait a bit to see what happens with values, especially considering it's only 4k less than the 335i.

Were you able to get anything off MSRP? My dealer has offered only a very small discount on a 128i Cabrio, saying that the 1 series will go like hotcakes - but that since I've bought three cars from them, they'll give me a few hundred off list.

Of course it is the first 128i ordered, everyone wants the 135i. I think that there are many better options for a straight six car around this horsepower

I want one but I was looking for the twin diesel hatch. it sucks that this is the only version coming here when it isn't all that much smaller than a 3, whats the point.

Just put my deposit on a 128 convert. I have no problem not getting the smaller engine. Im getting a bmw convert. new for just over 40k. Also did you notice that gas is nearing $3.50 per gallon for premimum. Sure they boast 28 mpg hgy for the 128, ill take 25 any day.
Do I really need the extra 1 second in excel. for all the add't bucks and extra gas.
You can get a speeding ticket in either!
..cant wait for delivery.
