A memorial service to remember - not a fan!

Leave Friday morning for Los Angeles
After "delays", arrive in LA 9:30pm PST
Race like hell to meet friends we haven't seen in 10 years.
    Come back to hotel 2:30am
Get up next morning for service (sister-in-law)
    Looooooooooong service.
    Looooooooooong reception.
Looooooooooonger "get together" at relative's house.
    Many drunk or crying relatives.
    Get back to hotel 1:30am
Get up next morning to return rental car (No problem, have GPS).
    GPS lies.
Find real address. Wait in (1) line to return.
    Jump on shuttle to airport.
Just make it through security to board plane.
After 6-1/2 hours with numb butt, arrive in Detroit.
    Connection to Maine cancelled.
My turn to get drunk & cry.
    Find "bargain" dive for $85.
Check out time next day is 3:00pm.
    Plane leaves at 9:00pm.
After boarding over-booked plane, proceed to de-icing.
    Airborn at 10:30pm
Arrive in Portland, Maine at midnight.
Terminal full, exit plane onto tarmac.
Walk 75 feet in snow & wind to terminal.
Find luggage, nothing missing or broken, things are looking up.
Find truck semi-encased in snow in "covered" parking.
Dig out truck, drive home in the snow at 45mph.
Arrive at shop to hook up snow plow.
Plow 8-10 inches of snow off parking lot.
Head for home to plow out driveways.
Finish plowing & shoveling so we can get in the house (3:30am).
Walk in the house...Hmmm, seems a little chilly (49 degrees).
Restart boiler. Wait 30 minutes to see if 2 year old $6000 furnace is going to hick-up again.
Runs fine, I guess it was just lonely.
Thaw out bed with hair dryer.
    Jump into bed at 4:30am.
Jump out of bed 9:00am to head to work and somehow catch up on 2 lost days of work.
Outlook greets me with 45 junk emails, 18 real emails, and a message: Jan 15th - Taxes due.
    @#%^&*$#@&!!!!!!!
    (sigh)

    So how'd your day go?
