Engine hunts then stalls. Any thoughts?

After the car heats up, but not all the time, it hunts when it stopps (at traffic lights for example)then stalles. I had a bad battery and thought it was a low voltage issue but battery is now replaced and it did it again last night. Any help would be great.

Investigate any source of vacuum leak...

Hoses, seals on intake, throttle bodies, even an oil filler cap or dipstick not seated correctly can leak and trip up idle.

    Good luck,

And there are a lot of them..m

You need check the entire intake path as well as all vacuum lines. And there are a lot of them. Remember to look at the brake booster and charcoal canister lines as well.

Sometimes this behavior comes from the ICV being dirty of stuck. More often though, the hoses that go to it are completely fried and leaking badly. I'm not sure the exact configuration on your engine, but in general this is true.

oh yeah, Barber's ends up not being

good try to put it in, maybe they will make it more pronounced some day.

Barber is alot of fun, I haven't been on a western track yet with two obvious four wheel drift creators, or even one.

I guess I should have looked for a job mid CA, with LS, Thunderhill, and infineon to choose from. Infineon has more interest now as it is harder, but I don't know if I am up for another 800 mile trek soon.

Thinking about Miller in June tho._______
