96 launch issue
I have a 96 M3 with more than 130k miles on it. Under hard acceleration the car goes hard left. I have recently (in last 10k miles) replaced all of the suspension parts, tires, and brakes. The alignment has been checked multiple times and the car is straight. Under normal conditions the car tracks straight but under heavy throttle goes very much left. Ideas? Thanks.

Like the guys said -- RTABSs RTABs RTABs!
(Rear trailing arm bushings, of course).
Any and every E36 at that mileage needs em.
And the fact it's pulling left seals it for me. When you're trailing arm bushings are shot, the car pulls hard to the left. To the point where you can literally pass another car on the highway without using the steering wheel (get hard on the gas, car moves into the left lane, let off and the car goes straight again). Sound familiar?
So yeah. Time for rear trailing arm bushings. Be sure to install these too:

RTABs only good for 20K anyway, or less if
The RTABs are soft. They rip with spirited driving after about 20K sometimes. If the RTAB bracket isn't aligned right when torquing up the bolts, they are preloaded wrong, and that shortens their life considerably. If your genius mechanic omitted that step, it is possible that they are blown after 15K miles. Also we don't know how you drove your car during those miles.

Not sure what the mechanic did or didn't do. As for how I drive the car, about how one would be expected to drive a M3 - as hard as I can get away with driving. Actually, it has been mostly highway driving - Atlanta to Kansas City and back this summer. Will get them checked again.
