    Wheel size for 135i

    Hello all,
I am going to buy the 135i if it drives ok for my wife and I. We currently have a 2004 Z4 3.0i. I bought a set of wheels and tires for the Z4 that I think would look good on the 135i. I noticed the factory wheels and tires on the 135i were:
    WHEELS TIRES
    135i
    18 x 7.5 215/44R-18 Front
    18 x 8.5 245/35R-18 Rear
    Z4
    18 x 8 225/40R-18 Front
    18 x 8.5 255/35R-18 Rear

Does anyone know if the wheels from my Z4 will fit the 135i. The bolt pattern looks the same but I am wondering is the 18 x 8s will fit on the front. I did read one review where they said larger front tires would fix the understear the car has.

    Are you sure?

TireRack sends spacers with et-44 wheels.
So I suspect the offset is closer to et35.

you need camber plate for the understeer

a slightly wider tires will not reduce it much. you can put a 225 on the 7.5" wheels but thats not going to magic.
a camber plate and larger rear anti-sway bar will do it.
the staggered setup from the Z4 has a same ratio so it will just understeer the same ratio, only a tiny bit higher speed due to the wider tires.
225 with a 245 rear will slightly reduce understeer but you can also play with tire pressure to reduce understeer. these are fine tuning of them, most people will not feel the difference.
