Factory Alpine Radio Issues
I'm having an issue with my radio where the radio reception is real spotty. Playing CD's from that changer wirks fine so the amp is OK. I pulled the radio and the antenna connections are fine there. I did have a new headliner put in so maybe the rear window anetnna connection got messed up? Where is the antenna amp? Is it near the main amp? Any ideas or advice? Thx.'97 M3 Bright Red

The antenna connection is...
on the passenger side C pillar. You have to carefully remove the cover so that you don't break all the plastic tabs and things on a decade old piece of BMW plastic. Maybe it was unplugged? Take a look. Could the antenna amp/filter is dead also. And if your rear window defogger is broken (trace has a gap in it), your main antenna is then shot.
