Car was sitting 2years ac won't work all new ac...

sorry if this is a repost...

Ok my 1988 535IS prior to being parked for 2 years I put in new; compressor/receiver dryer/hoses and the AC blew cold nicely.

After I started it went for a trip and the AC has no cold air,

The compressor is kicking in the sight glass on the rec/dryer has no bubbles...so WTF is the AC not blowing cold?

Do I need an expansion valve? That's the only thing I didn't change.

    Thx in advance.

Did you thoroughly flush the entire system when you replaced the parts?

Yes, when the system was evacuated and recharged.

It could be that your system is empty

because of a leaking fitting or ???

After 2 years, not surprising. Owners manual says

to run the AC monthly, even during winter, to keep the orings good and lubed. If you don't...they go bad...and the freon leaks out. Just my o2
