Picked up mine 135ias last night
I have been wanting this car since I first saw it in the magazines back in July of 2008. I was kinda hesitant when it came time to order. I checked off every options except for Nav, Active steering and premium radio. Sticker price came out to $44,025.00. Salesman told me to go ahead and order it. If I did not want the car after it arrived, He would give me a full refund on my deposit which was only $500.00. He said he would have no problem selling the car, I had ordered, because of the demand.
I have been reading a lot of preliminary reviews and was impressed by the numbers. I got to test drive one a week ago. My car finally arrived Wednesday night. I picked it up last night. It's Titanium silver with gray interior and gray poplar wood trim. I put about 60 miles on it so far and loved every minute of it. I can't wait till break in period to be over so I can REALLY drive it.
For those of you who are thinking about getting one, JUST DO IT!

Re: Picked up mine 135ias last night
Put a little over a hundred miles on the odometer so far. I was driving around today and thought I saw a black 128i. Not really sure if it was a 1. It's hard to tell with black from a distance. I was getting a lot of stares. I don't think most people know what the_hell a 135i is. I am taking it very easy during the break-in period. I plan to keep this car for a long time. I am still learning about all the gadget this car came with. Unlike the older bmw's where you have to go to the dealer to set the door locking/unlocking, day time running lights setting and such, you can do all that your self with the turn signal lever buttons. Comfort access is awesome. Bluetooth works great. BMW assist is kinda neat, but I'm not willing to pay for the premium service right now.
I passed on the $2100.00 BMW GPS. Got myself a Magellan 3250 today (on sale at circuit city for $289.99). I have a Magellan 3100 in the other car. Wanted something a little better. Going to try to get the windows tinted next week. Been loving every mile i put in this car. I am sure you will too.

Re: Picked up mine 135ias last night
Our dealership has both a 128 and a 135 bracketing a the new M3. I like the looks of the 135, but my wife does not. I actually like the 335 better than the new M3. The M3 looks longer (sedan) although I know it's not. Wierd. We get our new 335 on tax day. Apples to apples the M3 would have cost us $19K more, and I just cannot pull the trigger.

I was just thinking
I saw a white 6 speed with black interior at the dealer on Thursday march 20th. salesman told me that it was the 1st 135i being deliver. He also told me I was getting the 2nd one. There were at least one other 135i and a couple 128i's in the lot at the time. He said they were demo cars.
I think the dealer pulled a fast one on us.
