Re: Spy Phtotos of Z4 Replacement
A local BMW salesperson told me the other day to expect seeing the replacement this fall at some of the European shows as a 2009 model that will be at the U.S. dealers this time next year. He told me that production of the Z4 has either ceased or will cease soon. Can anyone confirm the production shutting down?

Dang...I may be in big trouble...
I thought I would be keeping the Texas Landshark forever.
But now... Wow, I like the new lines; I can take or leave the hard roof; but if the M version gets that amazing V8...oh my...excuse me while I wipe the drool from my keyboard...!!!
Help me Dave Ramsey...I may consider going into debt...!!!!

Good photo
Good job. My sources tell me that many of the dealers and sales staff have seen pictures of the new Z4 and it is very much like the photo above. It was described to me as more Aston Martin-ish. Release date not available. With the folding tin-top, color choice might be more critical: those seam lines on the new 3 Series Cabrio really stand out on lighter colors.

Re: So long as it is lighter than the current Z4
*-Supposed-* to be just an inch or so bigger in each dimension, which will probably add a few pounds, but if they drop in the twin-turbo motor that might not be a bad thing. Wish they would let the M-version have the V8, but that will probably never happen. Too bad.
