    Creaking from Driver's Seat

2005 645 coupe, build date 12/04, 59,000 miles, out of warranty. New owner, purchased the car in 12/07.

The driver's seat has started emitting a creaking sound while driving. I can't duplicate it by bouncing on the seat while stationary and there is no play in the seat.

I took the seat out and checked all bolts/screws and found none loose.

    Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Love the car.

    Joe.

I'm having the same problem, but I just crank up my stereo! Easy fix man. :-)

    Re: Creaking from Driver's Seat

I think I may have fixed most of the noises.

I took the back panel off again and put some velcro at the base of where the seatback handle is, to cushion it at rest. I also put some velcro along the inside edge where the seatback handle slides up and down (that was done without having to remove the rear seatback).

I also replaced the plastic pins that hold the seatback in position when screws.

    Hope this helps.
