    Fuel Pump Relay 1988 M3

Where is the fuel pump relay located and is it a 5 prong or 7 prong relay. I have removed the firewall on the passenger side and have found three relays, but none are 7 prong.

Re: No start troubles '87 fuel pump relay?

    Hello!

Need a little help from anyone out there a bit more familiar with this model than I am.

    I own a 1987 325e...

The car just experienced its first no start trouble ever while I have owned it.

With the key in the "on" position can't hear the fuel pump buzz like it used to?

Possible bad fuel pump or could it be the fuel pump relay?

Specifically, my question is, where is the fuel pump relay located?

Any suggestions as to where to start to diagnose the trouble?

    Thanks in advance!

    J.
