    Erractic overheating 2000 740 i.. Please help

    2000 740i overheats erraticlly,i can drive for days fine and out of nowhere it will overheat, then back to normal drving for days, I changed thermostat about 30k miles ago. I wouldn't think it's time for another thermostat..

    had a e39 that done the same thing turned out to be water pump also check for air in the system
