2002 Flywheel used on to 320i (M10) engine?
OK, I have my worn 75 2002 engine dangling from the chains of the engine hoist. It has its cluth, pressure plate and flywheel attached.
I have a rebuilt 77 320i (2 litre) M10 engine sitting on a stand.
I purchased a new cluth plate, pressure plate, and throwout bearing.
Now I wonder if the existing flywheel on the old engine is OK to bolt on to the new 320i engine.
How can one determine if a flywheel is worn? Should I get it machined?
Ideas, please,
James
