I didn't do research... Gasp I know unbelievable
a such in depth guy like me.... My purchase was strictly price driven... We knew we wanted a flat panel someday, it came up cheep and I said ok.... You are right my room is has six floor to ceiling windows on the back wall and it does reflect off the plasma but I really don't notice which is strange because I'm the guy who absolutely is driven crazy by people at the movies who text message... Movie text messages are just one step below spammers and since I think spamming should be a capital crime so that shows you where I'm at on that.... In fact if the are within distance of my foot I will telegraph my distaste with an oh so gentle tap to the back of their seat. I mean WTH? Spend $7.50 so you can text message your buddies from a theater seat... I don't get it.... But anyhow back to what we were discussing... Yes the plasma is highly reflective...<font color=white>

I don't have your number for some reason either... Maybe email update is in store? So, any bridal registries I should know about? <font color=white>

Ultimately, it came down to price
Like I said, at the time my 60 inch high def LCD was $5,000. Had I gotten a 60 inch plasma, it would have been $25,000. That would be $20,000 to save about 10 inches total in depth (13 inches for LCD versus 3 inches for plasma). Sorry, but 10 inches isn't worth $20,000 to me. (how many different ways could THAT sentence be taken!?)
LCD has advanced even more from where it was back then. Prices have leveled off some, but not enough to justify the "upgrade" to me. If I was buying something smaller, I might go plasma. But if I had to replace my big screen, it would be either LCD or DLP for me. YMMV.

CAmeras? Go with B&H and don't bother with
anyone else. Decent to great prices. Excellent customer service. Fast shipping. HUGE inventory.

I've always been pleased with them.
I have ordered both online and gone directly to their store in Manhatten. I was impressed with their inventory, pricing, and service in both instances. I would order again from them unless and until I hear that there is some sort of problem (like tons of grey market stuff!)

Do some research
Don't take my word for the fact that they don't have grey market. I just haven't heard that they do. I can recommend them as a seller generally, but check first to make sure you aren't getting ripped off on the actual product.
