Water leak into trunk

Water leaking into trunk puddling on battery cover, please help! I changed my trunk gasket and checked my rear lights but I still have water leaking into my trunk onto my battery cover during a heavy rain. Anyone know where the problem may be?

I have the same problem. BMW blamed it on loose taillights but i didn't fix the problem. My leak is coming through little holes in my truck. The holes are located on the top of the trunk. I think it is entering through the back windshield. Perhaps one of the seals are bad. It happens on days where it rains all day.

BMW has done 2 tests to find problem and always say it checks ok. This water leak shorts out the radio and my on board control/gps unit goes to german text and I am unable to use the parking sensors or anything related to the on board control unit.
