Hello, I'm a new BMW owner (used z3 1996). I put in a new battery and now my radio is asking for the code? Any way to beat out having to go to a dealer inorder to get my code? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. TJ

The car originally came with a card that had the code. Usually, it would have been kept in the black portfolio that holds the owner's manual, etc. If not, then a trip to the dealer is in your future.
