    Phil Hill) I'm surprised that no one noted the

    death of Phil Hill, America's first F-1 World Champion (the only other one being Mario Andretti) on 28 Aug at the age of 81. I never met him but always liked what I read about him.

    Hi Jerry, I wasn't in front of the TV much this weekend and didn't see it in the paper. Just goes to show how little F1 rates in America today.
