Brake Booster O-Ring source??
Wellll - OK, I know HOW to do the o-ring replacement for the brake booster fluid leak, But WHERE can I get the bloody O-ring. Been to all the regular sources. Pep-boys pops up here and there as a source - nada, done Kragen, a couple of hydraulic supply shops, Bug shop, Import parts store. Nobody has a 3mm cross section X 38mm ID O-ring. Anybody have a current source? '87 535is & '85 635 both need'em. TIA, petalumabud

Is this the low pressure o-ring that goes in the
front end of the booster? If so, I wouldn't worry too much about the exact fit. You could probably use a 1.5 inch ID and 1/8 inch and make it work. I fixed one of mine by just going through a guys assortment tray till I found one close in size. If it's the inside seals then search the board here and at BB dot com where some of the other guys hang out and find the name of the guy who has the full repair kit.
