Guys,

I could use some help. I have a 31K CPO Grey 2006 650i - absolutely spotless. Black leather. Sport Package. Logic 7. Looking to trade it in and or sell. What do you guys advice for max price or trade value.

Dealers are barely offering 39K ! Should I wait till Spring or just bite the bullet. Private sale ? Where best to advertise ? I am willing to be aggressive on price.

You will always be able to get more for a car selling it yourself. That said, the car market is VERY challenging right now.

I use Auto Trader - I believe that site and cars dot com are the largest and most popular user car sites. For $79 on Auto Trader you get multiple photos and "list 'til it sells". I would start off asking in the upper $40k range and be prepared to cut the price aggressvely (i.e. $1-2k every week or so). Even with that, the reality may be that market may not start turning around until spring.

I am in a very similar situation with my current car. It really depends on how long you are willing to wait vs. how much of a hit you are willing to take. Good luck.___________________________________________
