Re: Next generation BMW 6 series

I think probably first post here on roadfly e63. Thanks. Certainly posted on other forums including e24 but most of us do not visit there that often if at all.

Do not get overly excited about what you see or I should say what you do not see. They will not have real body panels and such at this juncture in their development as this car is still a long ways off. But it will be interesting to watch the evolution of information and will be fun to come back to this to compare what we really end up with in the F12/13.

Re: Next generation BMW 6 series

That is real close to what the car will look like. BMW is farther along than you think. Right now cold and hot weather intensive testing is going on which means working prototypes. After the e65 debacle they are really doing their homework to make sure the platform is relatively problem free. Plus the 5 will be out spring/summer next year with the 6 not too far behind. Expect the f01 style nose treatment. It will be very nice.

Re: Next generation BMW 6 series

Thanks, RAD2. I am really eager to see the new 6. We are seeing ideas and renderings of new 3 series already, and some of us have waited a long time for the next 6 series...
