    Just got my 135i yesterday...what a blast!

Just got my car yesterday. I ordered the Sedona Red and was a little surprised with the color but really like it even though it isn't as red as i envisioned. This car is wicked fast and tons of fun to drive.

Are you abusing your car during break-in??

You know brakes need to be broken in too, in addition to tires?
Did you read the owner's manual?
I broke my car in by the book and now it burns almost no oil and gets fantastic mileage.

    LOL, shame on him.

I got so sick of looking at that red of the promotional photo. if i never saw one again, it would be too soon. I got a titanium silver. enjoy your new car.

    Break-in questions

The only thing I saw about break-in was to keep the RPMs below 4,500 and speed below 100 mph during the first 1,200 miles. Anything else I should do?

    One more thing

I think I read somewhere, "no full throttle accelerations."

And it's a good idea to vary the engine load and rpms. After 1,200 miles, I increased revs gradually (5,500 redline for 200 miles, 6,000 for 200, etc.) and now at 12,000 miles, my 128i burns no oil whatsoever and is smoother and more powerful than it was at 2,000 miles.
