anyone know this car?

I'm thinking of purchasing this Black loaded 2006 M5 with 41K miles on it and it looks like it has some history (accident 9/27/2006). Does anyone know the original owner or have any details on the car? Looks like it was serviced in NH at Tulley BMW. The carfax link is below:

The car drives very strong and shifts great. I did notice the engine tapped loudly at idle and the steering wheel is worn out under the paddles which leads me to believe it was tracked often. My thoughts are for $40K and since it's under warranty I can have the dealer fix anything that is wrong.

What warranty? The base was 4yrs/50K, I believe. Is it a CPO? Ask dealer for a copy of the Davis report. It's very informative.

BTW tapping at idle coule mean connecting rod slap - not a good thing.CalypsoDiver
