It's just a dead forum...disappointing isn't it?..
Maybe if the 1 was problematic there'd be muy more posts. So that's a good thing.

Remember Our Series is Only 18 months old.
A messsage board interest takes time and an audience of car owners to thrive. Also, newer cars are a bit harder for the average person to work on or modify. Also there aren't that many 1's out on the streets yet. I still get stopped and asked what kid of BMW I'm driving in my 135. An entirely different situation than with my X3 or M Roadster.
For the last 15 years the 3 series has had different numbers but basically the same car post E30's. That's why the question sometimes show up on all thre boards. Same thing with many of the 5's.
Don't panic, I can remember in 99 when I bought my first Z3 there was a long time before the board got active. All that was getting posted was pictures and standard non-car person questions about which wax to use, how much did you pay, why do my wheels get so dirty, etc. just like you'll see here for a while.
Lastly, it takes people to contribute to make a board successful so keep participating.
