Value cover & valleypan gasket overhall-Too soon?

I have no major leaks, but shop is recommending I do both ($750 and $1900 respectively). Is it too soon with only 58K on my 740il?

Thanks...that was my take on it as well. They wanted to put on a 3rd set of front rotors too (replaced back at 35k), and I passed on that in lieu of just new pads.

    I R&R my rotors every 2 pad sets ~ 70k+ miles. I

used semimetalic pads so that's very hard on rotor compare to OE organic pads so it's ~ 100k miles. Changing rotors every 40k miles with pads is overkill, IMO, unless it's warped.
