    Are you talking DIY, an independent mechanic, or a dealer?

    Also, depending on the mechanic, they may choose to replace the entire control arms or just the bushings. Bushings are cheaper, but require special tools and a little more time. Control arms are more expensive, but cheaper if you DIY and do not have the tools to replace the bushings.

    Thanks for the price advice. went to a highly respected indy who quoted 300 for both sides. when the inspected the car they told it needed no front end work{great honesty}|yet what could be causing feathering on the out side of the right front tire? the shop was the bimmer shop formerly the little gararge in queens ny
