    any outlook for '09 M?

Can't find any info on outlook for M version of the '09. Anyone know if BMW has said anything about a release date . . . Also will the M coupe be history now that the roadster comes with the hard top? A nice feature on recent models has been the really quick drop and lifting of the soft-top, easily doable at a stoplight. Any mention of comparison on time for operation of the new hard-top, presumably a little longer as shown in the posted video, can't tell if the video is real-time. thanks . . .

    I would imagine....more

that with this economy, any variations on the Z4 will be held off until BMW can make some sound forecasts on sales figures.

Good question about the current coupe, I have wondered about that also. I would hope that BMW will keep it as an option but again, with the current world financial situation, who can tell what any manufacturer will do.

By the way, BMW has informed me that they are leaving the promotion of the new Z4 up to the dealers and that there is no mainstream campaign in the works. I am currently putting together a joint project between the ZSCCA, local chapters and their local dealers, to co-brand our products.

    Stay tuned...

    Co-brand the products?

Sorry, but I'm at a complete loss as to what you could be talking about.

I am suggesting that the ZSCCA...m

local chapters hook up with their local dealerships to promote both the Z4 and membership in the organization, at a debut of the Z4.

Valley BMW in Modesto, CA is going to send invitations to everyone who has purchased a Z (along with other customers) inviting them to an event that will have refreshments and the car. In addition, I will be there representing the ZSCCA and local members of Bay Area Z will be on hand with their cars to not only display the heritage of the Z4, but to show video and photos of club events and answer questions.

Sorry for the long answer. Co-branding is simply a combining of brands in one ad.
