    2000 MK II Nav System

I have a 2000 Sport with the MkII Nav System which has developed an intermittent video card. I removed the unit to check the connectors and found that it has pink and blue connectors. Is there a difference between this and the black connectors?2000 740i Sport, 94 540i, 94 530i, 98 Z3 2.8

Which "black connectors" are referring to?

The burgundy and blue plugs are standard for the MKII, MKIII, and MKIV navigation computers. The earlier MKI nav computer had black and brown plugs, and these are incompatible with the MKII and up computers. You can buy a BMW trunk adapter to convert a MKI car to a MKII or MKIII/MKIV car.
