removed rear spacers, now ticking noise in cabin

Had to remove the 10mm rear spacers yesterday, but now I hear a faint ticking noise in the cabin below the e-brake. Starts around 20 mph or so, very faint. Funny thing is it goes away when I pull up the e-brake a cm or two. When I release it, the ticking noise comes back. The noise sounds like it may be wheel related as it goes faster as the wheel go faster, as opposed to engine or drivetrain related. Any ideas? I don't think I did anything that would cause this. It's faint but it's driving me nuts.

When you removed the spacers, did you reinstall the wheels with the normal wheel lugs or did you use the longer lugs that probably came with the spacers? If you used the longer lugs, you may be milling some component of the suspension/hub with the lugs - not good.

    f'in A, spot on!

I completely forgot to change out the lug bolts when I removed the spacers! Did it this AM and everything is back to normal. Thanks!
