325i Emblem and Convertible Support Pistons

I recently picked up a 1989 325i convertible. It's in great shape except for the BMW emblem on the trunk lid and the two piston-like supports (struts?) that hold the convertible lid open when I raise or lower the convertible top. The pistons are worn out and the emblem is badly faded.

I'm new to the BMW world. Can somebody point out a good source of after-market, new or used parts that might help me avoid paying BMW dealer prices to replace these items?

    Thanks!

Might be easiest to just give them a call and I'd bet they could help you with both requests.
