nope...but if you cannot get into the trunk

using key fob or electronic latch over license plate, there's always the manual key lock to the right of the electronic latch

Have you checked the position of the switch.....

in the glove box? I know the remote buttons will not work with this switch in the locked position, nor will the button down by your leg. I really don't know if the manual key will work in the trunk with the glove box switch on lock.

The idea of this is you lock the trunk with the switch and then lock the glove box with the manual key (not really a valet key, as you have to give the valet the fob - you keep the manual key). When this is done, the parking attendant can't get in the trunk or glove box.

wow!! did not know that!!! I will try that out...and if thats the problem I will def use that as a trick next time i valet my car..

    Thanks..

before I send this off...i let a friend borrow my car and he probably pressed that button attempting to open the truck...makes perfect sense, since I never knew about that trunk lock button..

Sounds like you'll need to drill out the lock-o!

Too bad you didn't have one of your rear fold forward seats in the unlatched position?

Sounds like a new E90 BMW

Don't worry the BMW Share Holders now offer a 3 year Warranty

I guess the same knobs who make the door lock actuators also make the trunk lock one

"Klaus !!!!, another one for ya"
