Watery Brown Leak at back of engine

Anyone have this problem --- once the car has warmed up and been doing normal driving for a bit (20 minutes or so) starts to smell. When got home and parked, noticed 2 drops of a watery brown liquid from center back of engine. Also, when warmed up and driving for bit, have noticed it becomes harder to shift into 1 and 2 occasionally.
Just had it in for the smell -- they said they found leak to coolant resevoir tank and leak in power steering -- both were replaced, but now still getting the smell when warmed up and the 2 drops under the car are brand new (has never dripped anything in the garage before.
    Any ideas? -- 99 M Coupe.
Could it be just residual liquids which spilled on the engine, exhaust from the recent repair, or is it something else? (clutch hose?)
    Thanks much

doesnt feel oily, but hasnt evaporated off concrete yet..
was only a couple drops -- i'm hoping was just residual fluid from the recent powersteering leak repair?

will take it out again tonite for a drive and see it happens again
