    Couldn't help myself!!

    Well, I said I wasnt going to get the new 7 I ordered because of poor residuals and the sagging economy, but after test driving the 750Li, I was blown away. The new 7 blows the E65/66 away. This car is better than my 2006 760Li. Faster, handles better, much better leather, too numerous to mention gadgets, etc. All I can say is...WOW!! Good luck to all you get one. God Bless.

    Congratulations! Like you, I observed the car to be superior to the e65/e66 in every possible way. I can't think of one tiny detail in this car that wasn't improved.
    I'm jealous.. with a new baby on the way and the brutal beating my business getting from the economy I can't justify such high lease payments anymore.
    I guess my 2006 750Li is going to be my last new 7 series for some time to come.. maybe I will be able to pick a used F01 in a year or Two.

    How’s the 4 wheel steering, do you feel it kick in?
    How the torque when you hit the pedal?
    Rear Power Seats and Rear Entertainment?
    Is the premium sound any better?
    Full I-Pod integration?
    Did they keep the pop out keypad for the phone?
    I read conflicting stories of mobile Internet, is it available?

    A couple answers based on test-driving...

    The Active Integral Steering is really nice, BW. It certainly improved the turning radius and was noticeable at slow speeds, but it still felt connected on the highway (which has always been my issue with Active Steering on other models).

    Both the power and torque are really amazing.

    Yes, full iPod integration.

    No pop out key pad for the phone. (Coincidentally, no place to insert the key, either. Push start is standard.)

    I think mobile internet is Europe only, isn't it?<small>

    1. Havent had a chance to test all wheel steering yet.
    2. This car is fast. Excellent torque at low rpms..Faster than my old 760Li.
    3. Yes..both are awesome
    4. Premium sound rocks

    I think the deletion of the phone keypad on the dash and the full size spare are big negatives. The phone pad is very convenient for manual dial and voicemail menu functions. Run flat tires are very expensive ... having a full size spare is best for my peace of mind. Any thoughts?

    Completely agree. Overall, BMW did a good job improving most aspects of the car, but I HATE not having a spare. Also, I would really miss the keypad. I literally use it all the time.

    Well i could not help myself either, traded in my 06 650 conv. and last friday picked my 09 750LI.
    Amazing ride, all the toys.
    one question though in the glove compartment i see some indentation with clips anyone knows waht is supposed to go there.
