    Adjusting Hood/Bonnet?

Can anyone please advise me of a procedure to adjust the hood/bonnet?

I've owned my car for over 7 years and the hood/bonnet has always sat a little too high at the front and possibly looks a little too low at the rear edge. Please see photos here:

This has never really bothered me but a potential buyer for the car is now kicking up a fuss.

When the car recently went in for some paintwork (freshen up only) I asked the paintshop to sort it out but they forgot and I was in a rush to get away that day.

The problem is NOT the small rubber stops near the front as I've wound these all the way done.

Is there another way to adjust? I'm fearful that I may just end up making things worse by blindly meddling!

    TIA

Well the only time I have seen that is when the car had some collision damage. No real way to adjust. BUT maybe the hinge is worn out?
