First Inspection

The first inspection is coming up on my 03 3.0 (i know, low miles) and wondering who knows what that involves and how much it normally costs. Can it be done somewhere other than the dealer? thanks.

Usually, just an oil change. Did you really not change the oil for 6 years? I would also be concerned about tires at 6 years of age despite the mileage.TO//M

No, the oil has been changed three times. Tires still look good, but car is always garaged so that helps. But I'm seriously thinking of getting real tires and junking the run flats. Still, nearly six years after I bought it new, the car runs perfectly

even though they are low mileage, the rubber deteriorates over the years so take that into consideration.

Have your dealership give you a print out of Inspection 1 and do all of it yourself. If you are in Northern Calif, I'd be happy to help.

Thanks, appreciate the advice. I'm actually in Vegas, so Norcal a bit too far to go, but I will definitely get the printout
