    most of these ran just fine once warmed up

    ahh - those good old days of trying to start any BRAND NEW AMC v8 if it got a wee bit flooded. Ditto any carburetted Chrysler product near freezing and high humidity. No experience with GM or Ferd products.

    Hmmmmmm

    Just about the same time and just over the hill from Pebble Beach and the "Big Show". I wonder if the Pacer/Gremlin guys will get equal time at Laguna Seca. I used to sit on my mother's deck up in Carmel Valley and watch all the exotics tour up into valley and then over the hill on Los Laureles Grade to the track. Quite a show.
