Why we disregard 'Robert' on this forum

The individual who posts here under the moniker/handle 'Robert' with a San Diego cox IP address is a classic example of an internet troll.

(S)he spouts nonsense just to get a rise out of the rest of the forum community and thereby intentionally trashes the content.

I respectfully request that all posters in this forum exercise extreme restraint in responding to 'Robert'. He is best ignored completely as his posts very rarely add any value.

.... and help clean up the board. The latest Mark850 thread degradation is a perfect example of how things can go hell in a hand basket real quick, and some senior members have not shown restraint to keep feeding the troll(s)with unnecessary comments and replies. Times are changing and this board can't stand on it's laurels forever. It's still a source for valuable technical info for our cars, but the combination of the very outdated board format and the antics of both legitimate members and those who would disrupt have stifled continued input from newer members. Even the OP said info won't be posted here when the hoods are ready, and he was reluctant to post what he did. Restating the obvious ladislav? You betcha, and I'll continue to do so till this board gets it's act together, or not, as the case is now. Most likely though I'll just stop coming as many others have already.
