    Aftermarket Replacement for OEM battery

Can anyone tell me what aftermarket battery will work on the 04 645ci without having to go for resetting of the computer? I read that one with the same specs should work fine (?) but I'm not sure what people are using or if this is really feasible. Thanks.

That should be the big one at 15 + inches at it longest, 850 CCA. OEM for BMW batteries is Exide. Group 49 (may come in at only 14 inches, but still a brute). Do not let normal autoparts houses give you a replacement as they nearly all are too small. You need NAPA or other parts place that can get true OEM replacements.

Personally, I purchased a BMW OEM battery for retail of $220 minus 20% BMWCCA discount just so I would not have any future hassels if ever any electrical issues popped up. Plug and go.
