E34 540i Head Gasket Replacement?

Hello all. I am considering buying a 1995 540i M-Sport that may be in need of a new head gasket. I was wondering how many hours I should expect to be billed for at a shop. Anyone know the AllData time? What would I be looking at in parts cost alone? Thanks.

then you have a official answer, and then contact indies which probably can do it cheaper.
