Nav DVD
I just traded in my lease 07 650 convert for a new 2009 650 convert that they had leftover so i got a good deal. However the salesman told me I was getting the most recent nva dvd , but I think I got one that is almost 2 years old.
the disc is
65 90 431 724
which I think is 2008.1 released 9/2007 and that there is at least 1 newer disc, DVD Professional 2009.1 65 90 2 147 677 released 9/2008.
2 questions:
1. Should they have given me the newest disc with a new car no matter when it was manufactured. what is BMWs policy
2. What is the latest disc for that car.
I am still waiting for the manager to get back to me with their answer
thanks

Re: Nav DVD
The latest version on NAVTEQ site states it is 2009.1 released September 2008, so you are correct in thinking there is one newer. I certainly would have expected the version they give you to be the latest especially when it is that old (9/08) and would match the MY09 car you just got.
As far as policy that, I am sure, is not cast in stone and is dependant on the customer service levels at each dealership.
