Hey Dave!
Long time we both haven't been on here but I posted after almost 3 years a few weeks ago when the nice folks at BH bmw decided not to cover my room mates blown engine.
Despite that I still miss the M3 and the BBQ meets
How are things? Hope all is well!

another 2001
Long time / no post, too (but I have looked in occasionally)
I still have Auntie M -- oil & filter change today at 88393 mi.
Over the past month I have done some preventative maintenance: belts & pullies, high-pressure PS hose & two of the three other PS hoses, micro & air filter. new brakes and cooling system flush about a year ago.
She still runs strong, couple of interior trim issues (two pw switches loose), probably need tires by the end of the year, but otherwise reliable and sweet. Lifts my mood every day
Cheers to the old timers (!)

Re: Long time no see..:D
Hi all.
I still have my 2002 Japan red M3 ( BMW Individual). It has 84,000 miles.
Just had my 2001 Z3 3.0 hit and totaled --age wise not mechanically. It only has 45,000 miles. My son is bringing the M3 up on his trailer from his shop in Greensboro NC and taking the salvaged Z3 back to fix. He has had the M3 since summer and has done the necessary suspension work. I'll be so glad to have it back!
I Just got off the phone from my dealer and am now 3 on the list for the 1 series M coup. I'll trade or sell the M3 and keep the Z3. Remember the time we were all waiting for them to bring the M3 over? The M3 has been a great car and I will miss it but I want to buy a new car before I retire. It is time. For the car; not retirement.
