Got a new Z4

Howdy folks:
I see the board isn't getting much action lately, but I hope some of the old timers who bought Z4s back in the early years 2002 & 2003 still check back once in a while as I do.
Anywhoo, as some of the old timers know, I traded my Z4 after 5.5 years last year for a 1er Cabrio because I needed a back seat for my grandson's baby seat.
I still miss my Z4 as it was the most fun car I've ever owned,,,, but the 1er comes close.
Well, my grandson celebrates his 2nd birthday at end of this month so I thought that it's about time to introduce him to the BMW family.
So, here's what I got him:

The shrubs in the background in the Z4 pic are more mature than the shrubs in the 1 pic. It must be the effect that Z4's have on all living things.

Yah, the Z4 pic was taken in Spring 2003 and the shrubs in that pic were replaced sometime in 2006 with the ones seen in the 1er pic.<img src="http://usera.ImageCave.com/vhawk/Newsig.jpg">

Yah, kinda wish I had kept the Z4 as a weekend toy.

I do occasionally pop in to check out the scene..Still holding on to my '03 2.5i with just under 90K miles. My production date is 9/2002 and is probably the first batch of Z4s made. The only problem I've had was a bad ignition coil. Cost $32. No other problems whatsoever.
