It works in certain situations but the solution has to be more social and tolerance oriented which will nor bar the 1st amendment (Which may not apply to a forum).

I have not started a new thread for a while and do not visit this forum as often as I used to. I have not even renewed my inner circle membership this year.

But even with my infrequent visits to this (once beloved) forum I can't help but notice soo much chaos and negetives that I have ever seen in my past 10+ years exposure to this forum and it saddens me so.

I hope one day in the future I will see the forum as it used to be when the environment was like "Cheers" (yes the TV show and I am showing my age).

Is it too much to hope for?

Faisel, change is hard, but I think its time to head over to the BF board like most all the good members already have over the last six-months.

if you don't want to read a post don't. If you think it is inappropriate or obscene or just plain ol' stupid - MOM it.
If other find it the same it will be zapped. if not it stays.

Vladislav is just trying to be helpful and he tried to wack out the weed. As most process like this a few good vegetable gets killed too.
He might have shot an ant with cannon but he killed a few bad ants for sure.

I don't stress over this :-) I enjoy this actually.

if they MOM any of my post be it. who cares ? I say what I want and where I want as long as I keep it decent, right ?
if you don't like what Vladislav says MOM it, if you don't like what Botardo says MOM it, etc. simple as that. If enough people thinks the same way the message will be zapped and the anarchy will be solved.
