Affordable service in the Dallas area?
I need to replace a rear wheel bearing on my 2000 328I, I was quoted $475.00 for Bearing + Hub, seems a bit high, does any one know or can recommend a cheaper service in the Dallas, Texas area? I don't need the fancy places just someone to fix the car< I would do it my self but I don't have a Bearing extractor, help appreciated!

Not exactly in Dallas, but this shop
does GREAT work and they are very reasonable. Not a BMW specialist and it's not a fancy place. They helped me out of a major jam when I got in too deep doing a timing chain on my pickup.
Keller Alliance
There's another place in in the Keller/Watauga area on 377 that I've heard is great. They are BMW specialists. Cannot find the name for the life of me.
I have used Autoscope in Plano once years ago - good shop, but pricy.

Re: Not exactly in Dallas, but this shop
Eurosparts in Plano - Owner is Gary Ochs
911 Enterprises in Dallas - Owner is Barry Gibbs
Louden Motorcars in Dallas - Owner is Steve Louden
Autohans in Addison - Owner is Hans
Technicare in Dallas - Owner is Paul
I know all of these shops very well and they do good honest work. Technicare may have lower labor rates as he also works on domestics.
